Business Name Change!
Gypsies Do It Better is in the process of changing it's name! The new name will be Retro Kitten Apparel. I am working with an artist who will be creating a new logo as well and we think you'll love it!
I have considered changing our name for months now as gypsiesdoitbetter didn't really match our merchandise, and we think Retro Kitten Apparel will suit the store and you, the customer and friend, much more! I also kinda like it! The origin of the original name "Gypsies Do It Better" came to fruition because, I, myself, am a gypsy and my lifestyle of traveling, wheelin' n dealin', and second hand thrift shoping ultimately turned into a successfull online business! But that name was pretty confusing as, although it meant something to me, it didnt truely represent the nature of the store, the merchandise, and the people who would ultimately shop here. It misrepresented our style completely. While I have been busy getting the store off the ground, I have also been contemplating the perfect name to represent the store and the customer, which is a Retro, Rockabilly, Vintage, Pinup, and Punk Second Hand store.
I love the leopard spotted shoe I chose for my logo, and I actually own those shoes, but I am working with Mark Wasyl, an awsome pinup artist, who is going to do the artwork for my new logo! I can't wait to share it with you! So, please be patient with us through this process and we're sure you love the outcome!
We have kept both URL's www.gypsiesdoitbetter.com and www.retrokittenapparel.com, and typing in either URL will always direct you to Retro Kitten Apparel. However, I am only going to keep the new email addresses: retrokittenapparel@yahoo.com, retrokittenmailer@yahoo.com, lindsay@retrokittenapparel.com, and support@retrokittenapparel.com. The old email addresses for gypsiesdoitbetter will only redirect you to our new email address for a limited time. So please be sure to add us to your contacts so we don't wind up in your black hole of spam.
